It seems that the wall mounted aquariums are becoming very popular these day’s especially due to the lack of space that people tend to have in their homes units.

The most important thing to understand about these tanks is that they have a very small filters and surface area, so it is very important that you don’t add to many fish to the tank. These tanks must be kept with about a quarter of the fish that you would keep in a normal tank due to their low oxygen levels and low Redox potential.

Also be warned that spare parts are often not available for these units. There is nothing worse than setting up a nice display and having to find out that the light tube or pump can not be replaced.
