1. Ensure adequate light2. Ensure adequate waterflow and surface agitation3. Ensure adequate nutrition, vitamins, trace elements and NEVER overfeed4. Never add too many fish at once and NEVER add any new fish unless your aquarium has been running perfectly and it has been at least one month since a fish has died, been sick or has been added5. Monitor fish aggression and don’t introduce predators with prey.6. Never wash biological filter media in tap water7. Ensure your water parameters are always correct 25’C, salinity 1.023, pH 8.4, kH 200ppm, Nh4 0ppm, NO2 0ppm, NO3 <10ppm, Ca 450ppm, PO4 0ppm.8. Never introduce a fish that may appear sick and ensure your salt level is 1.020 when the new fish is introduced.
